The Bunnies

While mowing the lawn last week I had an interesting opportunity to teach Nathan about "The Circle of Life".

I ran over a burrow with 7 baby bunnies with the lawn mower. Fortunately, none fell victim to the Honda. I caught 6 of them and put them in a bucket for the kids to see. Then Nathan and I took a walk to an open field near our house where we found a protected area to place the bunnies in.

Nathan asked if they would live, or if the hawks would get them. Then we talked about the circle of life and how the hawks would probably get most of them. But that's ok because we don't want them pooping in our yard! He agreed!
