Too Long

Ok, so it's been WAAAY too long since I've updated either this blog or our website. Sorry about that! We've been busy since the last November post! It's amazing how I don't really realize how much God has blessed our family unless you take some time to look back and reflect at all the wonderful things the Lord has done! Since our last post in November....

  • My mom sold her old house and now has a new place that's much more convenient for her.
  • We were able to go to Florida to visit my Grandparents with the kids and even visit with our friend Philipp from Germany - Photo above - What doesn't look right in this picture?
  • Nathan turned 6 and is now tearing up the baseball diamond in little league - GO GIANTS!
  • Leah turned 4 and is making a really good effort at no longer sucking her thumb.
  • Philip is almost 2 and is trying to talk more and more every day!
  • Our cousins Brent & Amy welcomed home their new son, Noah from Guatemala
  • The Dornbush cottage (now called the house) is finally done and mom and dad are almost ready to move up there (as soon as tax season is over - tomorrow)
  • Tax season is almost over so Mom & Dad might be able to come visit again
  • My mom was able to visit last weekend despite all the airline delays (13 hours of total delay over the 2 flights)
  • Susan is REALLY enjoying being on the MOPS leadership team
  • We've completed our 7th month as Nathan's Sunday school teachers and what a blessing it has been!
  • My sister is almost done with her fist degree at Davenport
  • Ben & Jess are almost done with their kitchen
  • Our nephew Jonathan is almost 1 and already has his own website
  • Ryan & Jen have 2 new wiener dogs to keep Elvis busy!

And so many other things that we get to see on a daily basis through our children, family, and our friends!

Hopefully we still have some readers of our blog! I will try to keep it updated on a more regular basis!

Hey guys... Great to read an update on your lives! Great picture, but hats & mittens don't really go with palm trees! Hope you enjoy your Spring!
