Halloween

Beggars night in Des Moines was tonight. It was Susan's year to bring the kids out trick or treating and my turn to hand out candy and listen to all of the bad jokes.

Well, I didn't say it was Leno quality! I'm still not used to the kids telling jokes to get candy.

This was Philip's first real year of doing the begging on his own. At first, he just wanted to go into everyone's house. Then with Susan prodding him he figured out that he could take the nicely wrapped packages and put them in his pumpkin candy holder. By the end of the night he knew the drill and wasn't shy at all about helping himself to the candy!

Seng and Danielle went with Susan and the kids. These pictures are after the begging completed and they are assessing all the sugar they're about to consume!
